Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for allergy and itchy but expect dilated eyes for hours!!!!! I have used various Visine products for years and was always happy. Despite the products being very pricey I only buy visine as I have come to trust them. Since I suffer from seasonal allergies I was very happy to see this new formulated one. Last night I could not take the itchy watery eyes and put a drop in each eyes and if I did get relief from allergy symptoms within 20-30mn my pupils were so enlarged I could not drive or read or function normally. We were going to a concert the whole thing was blurry for hours!!!. This side effect may be listed on the box but I did not have the box anymore and it is not listed on the back of bottle (I could not read it anyway!!!) only this am did I find it on the website. Which ingredient in this formula does that as I am now weary of buying new Visine products unless I know what to look for and avoid that particular ingredient or chemicals even in other formulas. Now I am back to being itchy watery eyes and no relief in sight. Will throw product away. August 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Allergic to the ingredients I used this product because my eyes had been watering from allergies. Fortunately I only used it in my left eye, because 9 hours later, that eyelid had swollen and my eye was incredibly itchy for another 12 hours. Then, the skin around that eye became scaly and numb. Headed to my doctor who agreed this sounded like I had an allergy to the product. After some internet searching for 2 hours, I discovered that many people are allergic to the preservative in this product. I learned my lesson about self medicating! August 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of my $$ This product has done nothing for my eyes so it goes in the garbage. July 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ahhh, Relief!! My eyes were sore and painful yesterday from allergies -playing with a bunny I didn't know I was allergic to. I figured they'd feel better if I showered/tried to flush them with water and slept. When I woke up, my eyes were EXTREMELY itchy. After a couple hours of trying not to rub, I couldn't take it any more. I asked my husb to pick me up some anti-histamine eye drops, and he chose Visine-A Eye Allergy Relief at Walgreens. When I put in two drops, my eyes stung a bit, but within an hour they felt completely better. Highly recommend! December 16, 2013
