Great Product -- Former Packaging Was Better Visine LR is THE BEST eye drop for long lasting redness and eye irritation relief. Unfortunately, the change in packaging was not a smart move by Visine. For instance, the new labeling no longer states "Visine LR." Instead, it states, "Long Lasting," which is also stated on other Visine products. This was very confusing and caused me to purchase the other products, which did not work well for me. Finally, I figured out which was the correct version; however, I am now unable to locate it in the stores. For some reason, the store buyers must not be reordering this product. I think the packing change has caused massive confusion and product mix ups at several levels. If Visine is smart, they will return to the old packaging for this product line. May 7, 2013

New LR is not as good I agree with those that have written stating that the new LR is not anywhere close to being as good as the old LR. I fortunately had stocked up with the old LR for awhile but then the store ran out and has not replaced it. Please bring back the old LR!!!!!! September 21, 2012

Not the same Guess Visine lost the formula as this is not the same product..it does not get the red out like the old visine LR did...fortunately I have a 1/4 bottle of the old type left...maybe visine could use it to reverse engineer the product and get it back into production. I don't understand why companys change a product that works unless there were extreme health effects from it. August 20, 2012

Only eye drops that truly remove our redness every morning! We've tried several products to "get the red" out of our painfully red eyes in every morning. This is the only one that gets our eyes white quickly and feels great. I wish it wasn't so hard to find because we've never found another Visine product with this effective ingredient! July 31, 2012

Not the same... Used LR for years. This is NOT THE SAME. It does not work the same, it doesn't relieve the redness the same and it is not the same. Please don't change things that are working! Isn't that the general rule? I, now, don't have a choice from this company. Sad when execs make a marketing decision and attempt to "change" a good product. Remember "New Coke"? This is the new coke for eye drops. Please offer the old formula. Others making comments saying its the same are dead wrong. Help your customers, Visine! June 30, 2012

Old Visine LR..Not.. This can't be the same as the old Visine LR. What happened to the Visine LR that I used for years. Anyone else fine this true? Where can I find the old LR, or something that might replace it? Will check back. thanks. Was not going to recommend this product, but that seemed a little harsh.. maybe it's just me that it will not work on. So will recommend it, might work for you..Hope so. June 27, 2012

Adults and children 6 years of age and over: put 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s)
This may be repeated as needed every 6 hours or as directed by a doctor
Children under 6 years of age: ask a doctor

When using this product

overuse may cause more eye redness
remove contact lenses before using
do not use if this solution changes color or becomes cloudy
do not touch tip of container to any surface to avoid contamination
replace cap after each use

Stop use and ask a doctor if

you feel eye pain
changes in vision occur
redness or irritation of the eye lasts
condition worsens or lasts more than 72 hours

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
